Based on the data from the Decennial U.S. Census, the popularity of the surname Younce appears to have slightly decreased in the last decade. In 2000, Younce was ranked as the 13,326th most popular surname, but by 2010 it had slipped to 13,674th place, marking a drop of 2.61%. Race and Ethnicity of people with the last name Younce

Turning to ethnic identity, the Decennial U.S. Census data shows some interesting shifts between 2000 and 2010. The largest change was observed within the Black community, which saw an increase of 82.46%, although they still only represent 1.04% of the total Younce population. Similarly, the Asian/Pacific Islander demographic increased by 60.42%, but also remained a small portion of the total at 0.77%. Mixed race ownership of the Younce surname also rose by 35.45%.
