When we examine the ethnic identity of those bearing the surname Sigrist, again using the Decennial U.S. Census data, we find that it is predominantly associated with White ethnicity. In 2000, about 97.03% of Sigrists identified as White, although this figure slightly decreased to 95.80% in 2010. Those identifying as Asian/Pacific Islander made up 0.88% in 2000 and 0.86% in 2010, experiencing a minor decrease of 2.27%.
