In terms of ethnic identity, the Decennial U.S. Census data shows a notable increase in the proportion of individuals with the Riviera surname identifying as Asian/Pacific Islander and Hispanic between 2000 and 2010. The percentage of Rivieras identifying as Asian/Pacific Islander more than doubled, jumping from 0.72% to 1.49%, while those identifying as Hispanic rose from 58.73% to 64.21%.
