When considering ethnic identity, data from the Decennial U.S. Census reveals that most bearers of the surname Pho identified themselves as Asian/Pacific Islander in both 2000 and 2010. However, there was a slight decrease in their representation, falling from 94.83% to 93.92%. The percentage of those identifying with two or more races also fell by 8.73% between the two census years. Interestingly, the portion of people with the surname Pho who identified as white increased considerably, up 74.75%, and an emergence of Hispanic identifiers was recorded in 2010 where none had been reported in 2000.
