Looking at changes in ethnic identity among those with the Pattee surname, according to the Decennial U.S. Census, there were shifts across several categories between 2000 and 2010. Individuals identifying as White decreased from 93.52% to 90.61%, while representation of Asian/Pacific Islander increased from 0.75% to 0.82%, and Hispanic representation almost doubled from 1.84% to 3.53%. Those identifying with two or more races saw a significant increase, rising by over 108% from 1.57% to 3.28%.
