Turning our attention to ethnic identity, again based on the Decennial U.S. Census, the Mahadeo surname is more diverse in 2010 than it was in 2000. The percentage of those identifying as Asian/Pacific Islander jumped from 34.83% in 2000 to 46.48% in 2010.
