Race and Ethnicity of people with the last name Hausner
With regard to ethnicity, the Decennial U.S. Census data shows some interesting shifts between 2000 and 2010. In 2000, the majority of those with the Hausner surname identified as White (95.20 percent), followed by Hispanic (1.72 percent), and then those identifying with two or more races (1.23 percent). However, by 2010, while the majority still identified as White, this percentage had decreased slightly to 93.82 percent. The percentage of those identifying as Hispanic had risen notably to 2.62 percent, an increase of 52.33 percent. Similarly, there was an increase in those identifying with two or more races, rising to 1.78 percent. Interestingly, Asian/Pacific Islander representation appeared in 2010 at 0.95 percent, after having been absent in 2000. Conversely, American Indian and Alaskan Native representation, which stood at 0.74 percent in 2000, did not appear in the 2010 census data.
