Compare Garrigus. History: Matthieu Garrigues from Labastide-Rouairoux in Tarn, France, married Suzanne Rochet in The Hague, the Netherlands, in 1702, died in Philadelphia, PA, in 1726 or 1746. He is listed in the register of Huguenot ancestors recognized by the Huguenot Society of America, while in the (US) National Huguenot Society’s register of qualified Huguenot ancestors it his father, Jean Garrigues, who is listed.
