In terms of ethnicity, the Decennial U.S. Census data reveals some changes among individuals carrying the Erving surname between 2000 and 2010. During these years, the percentage of those identifying as Black decreased from 65.38% to 60.64%, a change of -7.25%. At the same time, there were increases in other ethnic groups.
