In 2000, it was ranked 73,931 in terms of popularity, but by 2010, it had risen to 50,960 – a change of 31.07%. The number of people bearing the Daud name also increased during this period, going from 244 in 2000 to 409 in 2010 (a rise of 67.62%). As a result, the proportion of people with the Daud surname per 100,000 individuals rose from 0.09 to 0.14, which is an increase of 55.56%.

Regarding the ethnic identity associated with the surname Daud, the Decennial U.S. Census data provides some interesting insights.
