History: Henry Brummel (born in Oldebroek, the Netherlands, in 1852; died in New Groningen, MI, in 1918) had a large family. According to Familieboek Brummel (1994), his son William wrote: “We have 10 boys and 2 girls in our family and we are all singers, even the sewing machine.”
